Muonekera Church Meeting The Muonekera congregation is located in Januari Village, Mulanje District, Malawi about 75 km southeast of Blantyre in the Luchenza area. The meeting took place under a large Masuku tree in the yard of the small church building. Nature provided a beautiful background which enhanced the worship of our God and Creator on this wonderful Lord’s Day! Chief Januari is the man standing on the far right side in the front row. Davidson Kasambwe made the trip with me to do the translating. Bro. T. R. Chimpeni is the preacher for the congregation. |

You will note in this second photo that there are eight men standing behind Davidson Kasambwe who is stooping down. All of these men are preachers who were restored to our brotherhood during the month of December. Several of them were among those who severed their ties from us about 14 years ago. Six of these men live in Mulanje District area, one is from Ndirandi Township in Blantyre, and the other is from Lilongwe City, Lilongwe District The Lord gave us the day, and we rejoiced! --Jim Franklin |
